COOPER LIKES:
Rylee, sort of...
This was a step in the right direction until Cooper found her ear. :/
Rylee's food.
Honestly, he likes the dog food much more than he likes the actual dog.
I tried to lure Rylee near him later on by sitting a treat next to Coop's feet and, well, as you can guess, I turned around to see Rylee sniffing Cooper's feet and looking very confused... and Cooper with a cheek full of dog treat.
Awesome.

Banging on Mommy's laptop.
He has the uncanny ability to locate the backspace button.
To eat!
This child eats anything and everything...
His palate is already so much broader than mine that it blows my mind.
(I've gotten so many questions and comments about Baby Led Weaning that I am going to dedicate an entire post to it soon - if you have any specific questions, please feel free to email or facebook message them to me and I'll do my best to answer them all!)
Swinging!
Our little adventurer thought the swings were soooo fun!
He smiled. He giggled. He loved every minute of it.
Playing the drum on his crawling toy...
Not crawling after it like he is supposed to, just drumming.

COOPER DOES NOT LIKE:
Learning to do a somersault.
We were trying to help him crawl after it, but instead he climbed it...
and flipped over it...
Good catch Daddy!
COOPER'S NEW TRICK:
This week we learned TWO tricks!
(Neither of which Mommy has managed to capture on camera yet.)

This week we learned TWO tricks!

Cooper started giving high fives first - at the very beginning of the week! You hold your hand up and he starts grinning soooo big and then very gently places his hand on yours and then when you say "Yay Cooper!" he starts high five-ing you perfectly! Haha! He is so very proud of himself - it's adorable!
By the end of the week Cooper-man had also mastered clapping! We had practiced and practiced and practiced and he would just smile so big and stare at Brandon and I while clapped and clapped like idiots, but he'd never move his hands. Then on the last day of Week 33, I was holding him up in front of a mirror and talking to him and he looked at himself, smiled reallllly big and started clapping perfectly! Ha! Possibly a touch vain, but very adorable!

WEEK 33 HAPPENINGS:
Day 225: Messy eater! Have I mentioned that Cooper loves to eat?! Ha! We gave hummus a try tonight and needless to say, he liked it. I have a new appreciation for the detailed carvings on his high chair as I got to admire the work in depth as I cleaned it with a tooth pick trying to get all the hummus off.
Day 226: Nothing too newsworthy...
Day 227: We had an extra fun Sunday! After church, Cooper and Mommy met Jane and Evie at the park while Daddy studied for his Board Exam. We enjoyed swinging, sliding and climbing all over everything! Miss Evie is very brave and took on each new adventure like a pro! Cooper did his best to keep up but decided just watching Evie was more his style... After the park, Daddy took a study break and Uncle Awesome joined us on our walk over to the football field next to our neighborhood. We had so much fun playing chase, tossing the ball around and practicing our somersaults on the prettiest night of Spring so far!
Day 228: Daddy was on call so Cooper and I spent the day running errands in Norman while our house was being shown. Cooper was wearing down by the time we finally made our last stop at the grocery story. I walked over to grab a bag for the potatoes and found Cooper doing his best to reach them... It was a long day, but a successful one as we got all the chores done and got a contract on our house!
Day 229: We had a VERY busy Tuesday - music class, a breastfeeding class and lunch with some of our best buds - Britanny and Baby Loren! We came home and met Daddy who had been sleeping and studying after being at work all night. He decided he would swim with Cooper during his lesson and boy, did they have fun! They sang songs with the class, practiced all their swimming moves, worked on floating, played on the swim mat and WENT UNDER FOR THE FIRST TIME! (Shown in the last picture) Cooper was a bit surprised, but took it like a champ! What a big boy!
Day 230: Another fun trip to the Library for reading time! I am always so surprised when my squirming little worm sits perfectly still on the mat while the teacher reads the books. He takes every little thing in... It's a very bittersweet thing for Mommy. I am so proud of him for being independent and attentive, but my heart very selfishly feels a little sting when he doesn't ever look back for me. I know it's best, but boy it's hard to watch your baby turn into a big boy.
Day 231: We went on a fun adventure! Daddy found us the perfect old claw footed bathtub in a near by town. We drove through some beautiful green farm land to this charming 100 year old house where the most adorable little grandparents lived and bought the bathtub that they had sitting in the pasture behind their house! They were the sweetest people we've ever met and we really enjoyed making new friends. They gave us the tour of their incredible home and told us some great stories behind different treasures they'd picked up on trips and other adventures. Cooper and I sat on the porch swing with the sweet lady while Daddy and the gentleman loaded the tub - it honestly felt like something out of a movie. I realllly wish I had taken a picture of them with Cooper... oh well. We can't wait to give the tub a pretty new paint job and put it in our new master bath!
