Cooper: Week 43

COOPER LIKES:

Pushing his own stroller through customs.

All the attention (clapping, waving, cheering) that comes with swimming.

Playing catch with the twins.
Final conclusion: Cooper is a ball hog.

Toys with wheels.
This is the first time Cooper has shown any interest in trucks or tractors but Pop-Pop had some fun ones and he's rolling those things around like crazy!

Reading.
He loves climbing up in your lap and knocking out some reading material!

Uncle Awesome.

COOPER DOES NOT LIKE:

This week's photo session.
Over. It.

MOMMY'S FAVORITE
PICTURE OF THE WEEK:

This kid is the happiest of all the kids in the world.
It was at least 11:30pm and he was thrilled to be playing at the baseball fields!
We are some crazy lucky parents!

WEEK 43 HAPPENINGS:

Day 295: Flew HOME! Mark "travel 24 hours without crying" off Coop's list! This boy was a dream... We could not have asked for a better boy!

Day 296: First swim at the lake! The water was wayyy too cold for Mommy but Cooper didn't seem to mind one bit! He and Pops started by just splashing their feet and then he decided to hop right on in. We have an official lake baby!

Day 297: First stop, church, and then lots and lots and lots and lots of laundry. We finished the day by driving to our new temporary home at Pop-Pop's in Oklahoma City.

Day 298: We started Music Camp this week!! Oh what fun it is! Each day there is a different theme and Miss Ginger goes all out decorating the room! Today was Glow in the Dark Day and Cooper was mesmerized! We rolled glow in the dark balls, we looked at the sparkling stars and then, our favorite, we went glow fishing!! Such great fun!

Day 299: Swim Day at Music Camp! We met Uncle Awesome and Scout at the park.  Scout was very excited by the ball the Daddy and Uncle Awesome kept throwing farther and farther away, but he was also a bit distracted by all the people jogging by, playing on the playground, minding their own business, not necessarily wanting to let him lick their faces... so the park trip got shut down pretty quickly but we made the best of sitting in the back of Zac's truck and letting the dog/child cousins play together... they are the best of friends! We were back at Pop-Pop's just about about tuck Cooper in bed when Aunt Jana called to tell us that our cousin Denver was playing baseball against Brandon's former Legion team. We couldn't miss an opportunity to see Brandon's former coach who he loves and adores, Coach Weese, and cheer for Den-man! It was so fun to get to introduce Coach to Cooper (in his pajamas!) and watch some LATE night baseball with the family!

Day 300: It was an extra fun day at Camp - Bubble Day!! Miss Ginger had made a bubble that filled up the entire room and it was awesome! Cooper is under the impression that Miss Ginger is there to read specifically to him so he has no hesitation with crawling right up into her lap! After Daddy got off work we went to Grammy's house for dinner and  more swimming fun! Coop was not too sure about this big tube around his waist...

Day 301: Jungle Day at Music Camp! Cooper was completely thrown off by the butterfly puppet that covered his entire arm... Every time it moved he would look at me as if that was the craziest thing he had ever seen! Daddy was on his FINAL night call so Cooper and I went to visit Uncle Awesome and Scout. Scout loves to give Cooper kisses and usually the adoration is mutual, with Cooper giggling away the entire time is face is being covered in slobber!
