Week two was daddy's last week home before going back to work so we did our best to take advantage of every minute together. Cooper is such a good baby - he's a happy little camper as long as he isn't hungry. When he's hungry, he'll let you know it! His sleeping is far from consistent - some nights he's up every hour, other nights he'll sleep 2-3 hours at a time. We're sleepy, but we aren't complaining for a second! To be real honest, I feel like I can sleep any time, but I won't always have the chance to hold a two week old so I'll happily cuddle through the night.
COOPER LIKES:
Still loving riding in the car seat, whether in the car or the stroller
the kid is happy as a little lark as long as he's strapped in!
*The picture above was Cooper's first time to fuss in the car so I reached my hand back over the seat and he held my finger, stopped crying and went straight to sleep.
Melt a Momma's heart.*
Being outside.
Swinging in his Snugabunny swing.
Talking basketball with his great-grandpa, Papa Paul.
His hands. He locks his fingers, he sucks on his fist (and occasionally his thumb, but momma puts a stop to that real quick!), he waves his hands all around... The boy likes those big hands!
Hanging out with his Daddy.
Having his hair brushed.
His momma loves that he has hair period!

COOPER DOES NOT LIKE:
Taking pictures when he is hungry.
Being naked... which includes bath time and diaper changes.
MOMMY'S FAVORITE PICTURE
OF THE WEEK:
*I snapped this pic of my boys sleeping at my parent's house.
I could've watched them sleep all day...*
In case you are wondering why there aren't many pictures of me with Cooper, it's because they all look like this:
WEEK 2 HAPPENINGS:
Day 9: Cooper attended his first OU Athletic event - the Men's Basketball Alumni Game! We got to watch Blake Griffin and every other living All American from OU get to play against each other. It was great fun and got us very excited to cheer on Uncle Awesome and his team in their upcoming season! (Cooper pretty much slept through the entire thing.)
Also that afternoon, we took our first stab at newborn pictures... Cooper's cousins - Blythe, Zoe and Blake - were playing in the next room and apparently he preferred to play with them. He screamed. He refused to cooperate. He peed on me. He pooped on me... twice. We took a few and then raised our white flag until another day!
Day 10: Cooper met his daddy's Dallas cousins, Lauren and Alex, and enjoyed spending the afternoon with his big cousin Brooks and birthday twin, Kamryn.
Day 11: Cooper lost his umbilical cord. I seriously considered crying... It felt like one step closer to him leaving us for college!
Day 12: Cooper went on his first jeep ride at Circle A. We saw 60 deer total, 35 of which were bucks and a handful of coyotes. Cooper slept right through the entire thing in Aunt Lyndsey's arms! So sad I didn't take a picture...
Day 13: Cooper went on his first boat ride on Lake Tenkiller! We just went on an evening stroll and enjoyed watching shooting stars and satellites while Daddy and Pops took a night swim. Little lake bum already!
Day 14: Today Cooper cooperated for pictures! Aunt Callie took some amazing pictures of our handsome little man... and this time I only got squirted once! We'll show off all the precious picks as soon as possible! But above is a little sneak peek...
That last picture is just precious! Sweet baby boy!
