Cooper: Week 32

COOPER LIKES:

Bubble bath chaos with Evie!
Ev very sweetly created an impressive bubble hat for Cooper that he happily sported!
Jane and I laughed until we cried at these two cuties...
My parents' tub makes some serious bubbles!

Fishing with Daddy.
Mommy about melted over these two precious boys doing boy things...
Starting sweet memories of fishing together early.

When Daddy spoils him!
We were doing a little floor shopping and I was in deep conversation with the salesman when I heard that adorable deep chuckle... I turned around to find one very happy Cooper!
Running errands with Daddy is always extra fun!

Rocking matching Chucks with Evie...
I swear, I did not pose these children. They just love each other!
Evie's sweet little hands on Cooper's foot makes me want to shed a tear.
They don't make more perfect babies than these...

His number ball!
Any time the ball gets hit or bounced it counts a number and Cooper thinks it's great fun to hit it over and over and over... We have been practicing rolling it back in forth, but right now hitting it is way more fun!

His very own fork!
This kid has been stealing our forks for a few weeks now, so we got him his very own.
We were pretty curious to see what he would do with it and well, much to our surprise, he did exactly what he was suppose to - eat!
We load it for him, lay it down on his tray and he picks it up and sticks it straight in his mouth! Such a big boy!!

Playing with our big cousin, Brooks!
This picture just makes me smile... They are both focused very intently on their work.
Brooks typically has free run of Grammy's nursery, but he very sweetly shared with Cooper.

Playing in the grass!
Our sweet boy is quite the little explorer.
He loves to touch and feel and taste EVERYTHING!

COOPER DOES NOT LIKE:

Laundry.
Who can blame him?

When Mommy bribes him to crawl.
Mean ol' Mommy.

Too many pictures.
Poor kid, his Momma tends to occasionally go overboard (shocking, I know) with the pictures.
He is very patient with me the majority of the time, but when he's done, he's done.

MOMMY'S FAVORITE
PICTURE OF THE WEEK:

My heart may burst...

and...

I finally caught those two little teeth!

WEEK 32 HAPPENINGS:

Day 218: Another fun day with Gabby & Pops! We tried to run some house errands but struck out on our luck. Cooper-man played on the Mr. Turtle rocker and enjoyed hanging out with his Pops!

Happy boys!

Evie & Pops

Grandpa & Coop

Day 219: We spent a rainy afternoon checkin' out the progress on the lake house! Thankfully, Pops and the boys got the roof finished up right before the rain and short bit of hail came! Grandpa Larry and Sonya made a quick trip down from OKC to see how the remodel was coming - so incredibly sweet of them! We are so excited about each little detail and appreciate their interest! (And of course, Uncle Awesome, Jane & Evie came home for the weekend too! Yay!)

Daddy finally getting to enjoy a much deserved day off

Somebody loves his Gabby!

Mommy & Daddy's Special Tree

Uncle Awesome & Ev exploring the creek

Swoon. I adore these sweet babes.

I couldn't resist putting the Little Prince in the field of flowers...

Sweet Evie Jane.

This picture doesn't do Sweet Pea justice.
Watching her run through the field of flowers brought joy to my heart.
She is the happiest child I've ever met - so full of life and love and adventure!

Pops caught a fish as big as Cooper!

Day 220: After church, Jesus provided one seriously b-e-a-utiful Sunday afternoon! There is no better place in the world to spend a pretty Spring day than the Ranch... We took advantage of the perfect weather by letting the boys fish, picking a few bouquets of jonquils and just enjoying each other's company. Sundays don't get much better than this...

Day 221: Somewhere between the construction site of the lake house, the Ranch or the long drive home Mommy's back tire became the new home for a big ol' nail. Of course, I didn't realize this until I was backing out of the garage so that our house could be shown! We were riding on the rim, so we parked Audry and went on a stroll around the neighborhood. It was a bit chilly but Cooper was cozy and slept straight through the entire thing! Later that evening when Daddy got home we loaded up and headed for Grammy's to have dinner with Cooper's Great-Uncle Kurt who was visiting from Florida, Uncle Caleb, Aunt Ashlee, Brooks & Kamryn! Another fun night with the fam!! Grammy's house has all kinds of fun toys in the nursery and Cooper was a big fan of the walker... Slow down baby boy! Momma isn't ready for walking yet!

Day 222: After an early morning at the Audi dealership, Daddy sweetly chauffeured us to  music class before heading in to work. We had a fun lunch with Gramma, Jerry, Kurt & Grammy. Cooper has his Gramma Helen and Uncle Kurt wrapped around his chubby little finger... We were so thankful to get to spend our afternoon catching up with them. That afternoon we knocked out another swim lesson! Whew, busy day!

Day 223: Nothing note worthy today - just a long list of "to-do's" around the house.

Day 224: Oh how Cooper loved his new toothbrush! Since we have TWO bottom teeth and most likely (based on our unusual cranky spells) a few top teeth preparing to make their grand debut, it was time to start brushing those pearly whites! His little face was concentrating so hard and of course his toes were clenched tight... I'm pretty sure he just chewed on it, but it was a start!
