WEEK 12 HAPPENINGS:

Day 78: Cooper had an eventful first Halloween! He got up early to go to his 2 month wellness check with the pediatrician. The little man didn't mind a bit because his Daddy snuck away from work and came upstairs to go to the appointment with us. Daddy makes everything good! After leaving Dr. Thompson's office, Cooper's mommy had the brilliant idea to swing back by Pumpkinville to get a few pictures of the little scarecrow in costume... Great plan except that the baby scarecrow was worn out and slept for almost an hour and a half while we sat on a bench... eventually mommy gave up... until next year. We spent the holiday at Grammy's house with Cooper's cousins, Batman and Robin! Cooper had a very happy first Halloween!

Day 79: We hit the road early Friday to cheer on our big cousin, Denver, and the mighty, mighty Wolverines! Sweet Blythe held the little man  while he power napped during the fourth quarter. The Wolverines took home a big "W" and moved to 9-0!

Day 80: Daddy was covering the hospital over the weekend and my parents were headed to OU to cheer on the Men's basketball team and Uncle Awesome, so Cooper spent the day cuddling in front of the fire with his Mommy at the lake. Not going to lie, it was a pretty perfect day once Daddy got home!

Day 81: We went to church and then hung around the lake a little longer while Daddy wrapped things up at the hospital. We hit the road around 8pm to head back to OKC and the Cooper-man was not at all happy about it. He cried screamed for 2.5 hours straight. We stopped and let him eat, but the second he finished he resumed the screaming. We stopped again and gave the carseat a swing outside of the car for a bit, but the second we snapped it back in, more screaming. So, that night we made a new rule - pacifier is allowed in the carseat on long drives!

Day 82: Cooper attended his first OU basketball game. Since the season had not technically started, the game was considered an exhibition game and was hosted in the Field House located on campus. It was a cool venue and a fun win for the Sooners. Cooper wasn't too sure about Sooner the mascot, but didn't cry! He watched the game intently - and when he moved from his Daddy's lap to his Momma's, craned his neck to see the court over the bar that we sat behind. He watched the boys run up and down the court until about half way through the second half when he promptly fell fast asleep despite the very loud buzzer that was positioned directly above us. I think it's safe to say that Cooper loves to cheer on the Sooners and Uncle Awesome!

Day 83: Errands, errands and more errands... No pictures of that nonsense!
