COOPER LIKES:
The little fire truck.
The first time Cooper played with the fire truck, the loud siren made him cry.
This week it was not so scary, but instead quite entertaining!

WEEK 25 HAPPENINGS:
Day 169: This was a random day of errands! We started by looking for a front door for the lake house by driving a golf cart through one gigantic warehouse. Cooper thought that was great fun! Then we headed off to the post office, bank and so on... After we got done with our list of to-do's we went back to Pop and Gabby's house to play! We were very entertained by the big activity block - it was so much fun!!
Day 170: Donkey Ball! The high school basketball boosters put on one very entertaining fundraiser - a basketball game played while running donkeys! Super random, but really funny! Uncle Levi played on the winning team and Blake modeled his handsome gold medal - the Olympics have nothing on Donkey Ball! It was a fun night for a great cause!
Day 171: Daddy went to work and it was cold outside... and then it started snowing! And it snowed and snowed and snowed and snowed some more! LOTS of snow!! Church was cancelled so we decided to take a drive through the refuge and see all the deer and geese playing in the blanket of white! I'm so excited to raise our sweet boy where he will see so many of God's beautiful creatures daily.
Day 173: The snow kept falling but we bundled up and braved the weather for music class! We had so much fun that the sweet boy crashed as soon as we walked in the door!
Day 174: While Uncle Awesome and the Sooners were on a wild ride to West Virginia, "cousin" Scout came to visit for a few days. While Scout has his moments of 10 month old lab puppy, overall he is a VERY good dog. Prime example - I took him to the vet and I was a little nervous about carrying Cooper in his car seat and having a good hold on Scout (who has never worn a leash before), but he was on best behavior - he walked in calmly and laid down at my feet. Suddenly one of the dogs in a kennel started barking ferociously and sweet Scout jumped up and quickly positioned himself between the dog and Cooper. He never made a sound, but sat on alert, watching the other dog until we were taken back to the room. That precious dog is welcome at our house any day.
Day 175: Our small group has had a rough time getting back on schedule following the holiday break but we finally made it happen! It was so entertaining to watch Cooper and Jackson actually play together - every time before they would either just lay there or one of the two would be asleep! Jackson is an expert roller - that little man can scoot in a hurry! Coop, on the other hand, preferred to sit and watch Jackson. These two couldn't be cuter and we are so thankful to have such a great small group to enjoy life with!
Cooper is growing up so fast! I love how protective Scout is of Cooper. It's precious! And how Cooper and Rylee are completely indifferent with each other-- he's a true guy, momma! Prefers his big lab over a small "frilly" (as lee calls them) dog. =)
