Cooper: Week 39

COOPER LIKES:

Getting into EVERYTHING...

Crafting (with an audience) at children's church...

Sticking his hands in Daddy's mouth...
Future dentist?

Treasure hunting in Uncle Awesome's closet...

Watching the baby geese at the Lodge...

Doing work with Mommy...

Duncan kisses...

Living the thug life with Mags...

Blueberries...

Shopping at Lowes...

Hanging out with the boys...

COOPER DOES NOT LIKE:

When Mommy takes too many pictures.

MOMMY'S FAVORITE
PICTURE OF THE WEEK:

Selfies with my FAVORITE boy!!
I've always wondered where he got such expressive eyebrows...
Now I know!

WEEK 39 HAPPENINGS:

Day 267: Cooper and I met Daddy for a quick lunch on our new deck! We are so excited for the many more meals we will be eating here soon!

Day 268: Our cousin, Haley, graduated from Oklahoma State University! We all made the trip to Stillwater for her big day. We are very excited for Miss Haley as she will be getting her Masters in Speech Pathology at OU Health Science Center! Yay Haley!

Day 269: Mommy's first Mother's Day! What a special time to get to celebrate the joy of being Cooper's mommy. We had a yummy lunch Gigi and MamaShawna and then Cooper and I went to work picking up what Grandma Dortha described as "just a few sticks" at the cemetery. After loading Brandon's truck up to the brim, we carefully drove home! It's always an adventure when Mommy gets her mind set on doing something :/

Day 270: The story everyone has been waiting for... Cooper, Mommy and Pops had to go to The End of the Earth, Arkansas to pick up some rock for the fireplace so we took Pop's new work truck and hit the road... Well somewhere with no gas stations in sight, the new truck's gas gage dropped from half a tank to "E" in about two seconds. Obviously, this was a bit surprising, and while we coasted down one verrrrrry long hill, we didn't make it near far enough before we were straight up out of gas. So, instead of waiting two hours for somebody at home to come bring us a can of gas, Mommy called the Arkansas Highway Patrol who very sweetly came to get us. I guess for safety reasons, we all three got to cruise to the closest gas station in the back of the patrol car and since most people riding in the back seat of patrol cars don't typically bring their babies along there wasn't enough space for the car seat so Cooper got to ride in my lap. All was fun and games until the drive back when Cooper decided to throw the rip-roaring fit of his life... Like to the point that the officer tried to discreetly plug his ears... Despite our best efforts to distract him, nothing was doing the trick! When Pops realized what was about to go down, he quickly pointed out the camera that was staring right at us but desperate times call for desperate measures... Needless to say, I can add "back of a cop car" to my Absolutely Bizarre Places I've Breastfed list...

Day 271: Another rainy day spent cruising the aisles at Lowes. We are becoming very familiar with the employees there lately! Coop helped us pick out a front door knob among a long list of other things!

Day 272: More house errands... Today, we marked cabinets off the list! Cooper, Daddy and Pops had great fun playing and laughing while Mommy and Mr. Mike got all the cabinets planned out.

Day 273: Somehow, the little Prince turned a whopping nine months old today... Where does the time go?!
