Cooper: Week 19

COOPER LIKES:

Kicking in his Rock 'n Play.
Cooper has realized that if he kicks his feet, he can make himself rock!
Oh he is a happy, squirming boy!

Getting squished and bounced.
Daddy sits Cooper on his belly and, of course, Cooper reaches for his toes then Daddy lifts him up a little and bounces his quickly... Cooper thinks this is the most fun thing EVER!!

Playing in his activity saucer!
Cooper's Grammy bought him this fun new thing.
He can play with all the little toys that sing and light up and the cherry on top - it jumps!

Opening presents!
Bright colored paper, crinkly tissue and sparkling ribbons - this little elf loved it all!

COOPER DOES NOT LIKE:

This little night owl saw no point in going to bed...
So he and I watched Jimmy Kimmel and enjoyed the glow of the Christmas lights!
I'm finally not the only late night person in this house!

Never-ending shopping days.
The little Prince went with me to do all my Christmas shopping and while he didn't love sitting in the stroller all day, overall, he was a perfect little angel.
I'm one lucky Momma!

MOMMY'S FAVORITE
PICTURE OF THE WEEK:

Sorry in advance for the naked baby pic, but (a) I blurred out all the inappropriate parts, (b) this is Cooper's "Baby Book" which means everything gets documented, and (c) I'm sorry, but this was too funny not to share!

I have laughed uncontrollably at this picture. The little stinker was taking his bath and all of the sudden all the kicking and splashing stopped... and he got very quiet... and then I saw a big bubble... and the water started changing colors!! Ewww!

Instead of yanking him out of the disgusting water, I grabbed my camera because my sweet boy has never looked more proud of himself before in his life! What a mess, literally.

WEEK 19 HAPPENINGS:

Day 127: We hosted our little small group Christmas get-together and unfortunately failed to take any pictures. Let me tell you, it was one wild party - we ordered pizzas, everyone brought Christmas cookies to swap and we all, literally, sat on the floor next to the Johnny Jump Up and let the boys take turns jumping to their little hearts' delight! Sometimes the best nights are the ones where nothing spectacular happens, but everyone just gets to kick back and enjoy each other!

Day 128: Daddy worked 24 hours so Cooper took part in his first Face Timing call - and baby boy LOVED it! He was so happy to see his daddy... but he sure would have liked to hold the phone by himself!

Grammy with (L-R) Cooper, Aidan, Kamryn & Brooks

Grandpa with the Birthday Twins!

The Little Prince had all the fun he could stand!
Day 129: After eight months of waiting, we finally got to meet our sweet nephew Aidan! Brandon's brother's family - Chris, Annia & Aidan - live in Florida and they came home for the holidays! We enjoyed a fun lunch with Brandon's grandparents, Uncle Kurt and Chris's crew and then headed to Grammy's house to hang out. Grammy waited until all the babies were home to take her Christmas card picture with their adorable matching jammies  It was a full fledged effort, but getting a 20 month old, 8 month old and two 4 month olds to cooperate... well, we did the best we could! Needless to say, with this group there are plenty of babies to pass around!

Day 130: We had a super fun family dinner at Brandon's uncle and aunt's house with lots of Brandon's cousins! Sweet Sophie had her hands full with one baby or another the entire time! It was great fun to get to see and catch up with everyone!

Santa brought lots goodies!

Cooper and Daddy got matching ear protection from Santa!
Cooper-man loved his new forest friends and all the fun sounds they make!

Baby Boy's first Nikes
Cooper had so much fun hanging out with his Uncle Kurt!
Momma's pretty boys...
Getting ready to open presents with Uncle Casey, Aunt Sissy (and Henry), Gabby and Pops!
Big cousin Blake loved her shopping cart from Cooper!
Oh just a typical Rogers Family Christmas...
Beautiful Maggie and Cooper
Uncle Awesome got a signed photo of himself on Sports Center - Ha!
Cooper sporting his new Circle A hat!
Mommy Picture! Callie/Creede, Cooper's Mommy and Lyndsey/Henry
Cooper will have lots of boy cousins to play with next Christmas!
Day 131: This was a seriously busy, but wonderful, day! We started the morning off with our little family Christmas at home! Santa very sweetly came a day early so that Cooper could get his treats before leaving town. Then we headed to Grammy's for Christmas with her and we topped off the day by hitting the road to the Ranch for the Rogers Family Christmas. Whirlwind day!

Cooper and Gabby - That face cracks me up!
Daddy got a new saddle - Cooper was a fan!
Christmas at Gabby and Pop's will wear a boy out!
Cooper's first piggy bank from Coach
Little man is never lacking for attention!

Surprise! Cooper is getting a new friend in July!!
We couldn't be more excited to hear about Baby Garrison!
I am so thankful that my lifelong best friend gets to do this whole baby thing with us!!
Baby boy was worn out by the end of the day...
Day 132: Cooper's first Christmas Day! We woke up and opened lots of presents with Gabby and Pops. Next we headed over for lunch and even more presents with Gigi and Coach! What a fun day!! That night we headed back to OKC to spend the evening with Brandon's family. We are so blessed to have so many loved ones to share the holidays with!

Day 133: No pictures today as Daddy decided to give Mommy a day off to exchange some things that didn't fit and spend the afternoon helping her friend, Britanny, get registered for Baby Cast! I don't have a clue what the boys did, but Cooper loves hanging out with his daddy so I bet they had fun!
